Yea verily, the time is once more upon us. The lazy and infirm have cast their absentee ballots. The apathetic are mildly aware that an election is happening at all, and the majority of the dissatisfied masses will simply not vote instead of “throwing away” their votes on perfectly viable third party candidates. Sigh… Such a sad mess has our representative democracy become. Projections show that perhaps 39% of registered voters will turn out tomorrow. Bear in mind that only about 45% of eligible citizens are even registered, so we’re looking at about 1/8th of the population deciding who’s going to run us into the ground.
watermellons got my rainbow brain banana – I vote we strike!
Regiem Change Starts At Home!
I am a bad person. I should have just voted.
No complaining from Matt about the economy now… no right for him to really complain, if he doesn’t vote.
That’s ok. I reserve the right to blame anybody who voted for who won and anybody who failed to vote. It’s collectively your fault. I use the second person pronoun because I rarely pick the winners.
My old Poly Sci teacher got a City Council seat, though. That’s something.
