Onegai Teacher got a bit sordid as it strolled along, but the characters were so likable that I bore through it. Twins seemed to be on a downward spiral, the characters finding more and more reasons for self-doubt and (possibly) self-loathing, until I just couldn't watch it anymore; watching it had ceased to be an entertainment but instead, a chore.
