Speaking as a neckbeard myself, I am certain that people who call themselves “anime fans” probably have heard of naruto. I’ve never watched it myself, but I have indeed heard of it. I stopped watching most “anime” when I was cornered and forced to watch half a dozen dragon ball z episodes back to back. I swear to god it took 5 episodes to power up their weaboo shenanigans.

Yeah, saw about twenty minutes of what looked like the beginning of a fight, but they just stood there powering up their ninja magic or whatever, yammering about their training. Can't do it.
